About Me

Meet Liz Morrissey

Liz is a psychotherapist with extensive education, including a Master’s in Psychotherapy. She runs two practices one in Busselton and one in Joondalup. She uses a client-centered approach and evidence-based interventions such as CBT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Positive Psychology, and Art Therapy. Her work spans various agencies, including women's refuges and youth services. Her therapeutic interests include grief, LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, behavioural difficulties, sleep issues, and trauma. Liz's sessions are tailored to empower adults, couples and adolescents, fostering a calm, healthy psychological state and supporting their potential.

Our individual therapy sessions are tailored to address the unique needs of each client. We utilize evidence-based approaches to help individuals navigate through their emotional struggles and develop effective coping strategies. Our goal is to foster resilience and promote a positive mindset.

Participating in family therapy can be a transformative experience. It provides an opportunity for individuals to connect with others  offering mutual support and understanding. Our family therapy sessions are designed to facilitate meaningful interactions and promote collective healing.

Our couples therapy sessions aim to strengthen the bond between partners and improve communication and conflict resolution. We work with couples to explore underlying issues, enhance intimacy, and rebuild trust, fostering healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
